The gay community has disposable incomes well above the national average. Dual income no kids households have significant buying power. Over 29% of gay men have yearly household incomes of at least $90,000.
Over 73% of gay men have a college degree, and many of those who do not are in the process of obtaining them.
Based on these figures it is a valid assumption that members of the Gay community will spend much of their disposable income on products and services available from providers who respect and support their sexual orientation.
